This Tuesday morning, we continued our study of the minor prophets in the book of Hosea in chapter 9. There God lays the discipline that, unless they repent, Israel must endure. Discipline is painful, but always merciful, always better than wrath and destruction. By discipline, God spares us and draws us back from the pit into which we would otherwise leap.
