Michael is the Director of Music at Church of the Good Shepherd. He grew up in Illinois in the various congregations his father pastored, finally fixing on Dixon as his hometown. He graduated from the Westminster Choir College of Rider University with a Bachelor of Sacred Music and has over 40 years of experience in every kind of church—Disciples of Christ, Episcopal, Lutheran, Methodist and RCA. He leads Good Shepherd's combined adult and children’s choir, and knows every inch of the building’s acoustic possibilities. His singular passion is tuning, servicing, and rebuilding pipe organs. He is married to Karen.
