DESCRIPTION:Allhallowtide This year we are going to be holding a service in preparation for Allhallowtide on Tuesday\, October 28th at 6:30pm\, in place of our usual Trunk-or-Treat event. It will be a somber candlelit service in remembrance of those we have lost personally\, collectively\, and the saints who have gone before us. \n\n\n\nAllhallowtide encompasses the observance of All Hallow’s Eve\, All Saint’s Day\, and All Soul’s Day. These days are set apart in the midst of Ordinary Time to reflect on our mortality and the end of life here on earth\, and how Christ has conquered death to bring us life everlasting. We mourn those we have lost\, while we praise God for their time here on earth\, and look forward to the day we will see them again. \n\n\n\nWe will be including a Necrology\, honoring and reading out the names of those we have lost as a community. If there is anyone dear to you you’d like to be included in this reading\, please contact Angel Groves in person or by text/phone. SUMMARY:Men's Breakfast and Bible Study
DESCRIPTION:Every Friday morning at 6:30am men from Good Shepherd\, other area churches\, and the community gather to share a warm breakfast and study the bible. The study is expositional\, moving verse by verse through one book of the bible at a time\, with the purpose of coming to a better understanding of God and his word. \nThere is plenty of discussion\, question and answer time\, prayer\, and fellowship. You do not have to be a member of Good Shepherd or any other church to attend. The study meets at Good Shepherd\, downstairs in the parish hall. It usually ends at 8:00am but men come and go during the study according to their work schedules. DESCRIPTION:Each Thursday evening\, Good Shepherd offers a free nutritious meal to thepeople of Good Shepherd and the wider community. If you are able\, this is a great time to get to know others and enjoya free and delicious meal. \nThe Rev.
