The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self: This Sunday we continued our Christian Education series for adults built around Carl Trueman’s book, “The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self’. This week we’ll discuss the relationship between the Gay and Lesbian movements and the Trans-sexual movement. The alliance between the three is not as self-evident as you might think. What binds them is a common commitment to many of the ideas and philosophies we have been discussing so far in Rise and Triumph. It’s important to understand those ideas because they are so powerful and prominent today.
