This Sunday we began our summer Christian Education series on the Homilies. We will be using an excellent translation done by Lee Gatiss, The First Book of Homilies: The Church of England’s Official Sermons in Modern English as we work through the series. It isn’t necessary to purchase a copy to follow along with the class, but if you would like to do so, you can purchase a copy here.
This week we will be looking at the first homily, “A Fruitful exhortation to the reading of Holy Scripture.”
