Allhallowtide Service

Allhallowtide This year we are going to be holding a service in preparation for Allhallowtide on Tuesday, October 28th at 6:30pm, in place of our usual Trunk-or-Treat event. It will be a somber candlelit service in remembrance of those we have lost personally, collectively, and the saints who have gone before us.

Allhallowtide encompasses the observance of All Hallow’s Eve, All Saint’s Day, and All Soul’s Day. These days are set apart in the midst of Ordinary Time to reflect on our mortality and the end of life here on earth, and how Christ has conquered death to bring us life everlasting. We mourn those we have lost, while we praise God for their time here on earth, and look forward to the day we will see them again.

We will be including a Necrology, honoring and reading out the names of those we have lost as a community. If there is anyone dear to you you’d like to be included in this reading, please contact Angel Groves in person or by text/phone. Please include the name of the deceased as well as their connection to you or our church. (Ex. John Smith, cousin of Jonathan Groves).
